Brandon Newell

Associate Director of Middle School Ministries

I have been in Student Ministry for 4 years, now serving in 2 different churches. After doing 3 1/2 years of ministry in Tampa, FL, God led me to CBC, where I now serve as the Associate Director of Middle School Ministries. Currently, I am pursuing a B.A. in Biblical Studies at The Baptist College of Florida.

Sunday AM

On Sunday mornings, we have Community Groups from 9:45-10:45a. Breakfast items are usually a part of this, as well as coffee for the adult teachers. We use XP3, an Orange curriculum designed for High School students, that is part of a Next Gen strategy for our church. Our Middle School meets on the third floor of the FLC and the High School meets on the first floor.

After Community Groups, we have a Next Gen Service at 11a that is designed specifically with our students and the next generation in mind.

Sunday PM

On Sunday nights, the Middle School is a whole lot of fun! Every month, there is a Missions night, a Student-led night, a Fun and Games night, and of course… snacks. They meet on the third floor of the FLC.

Sunday nights for our High School students is a combination of home groups, mission projects, and fellowship nights. Be sure to check our calendar to determine the evening’s activities.

Wednesday PM

Wednesday night is designed to be a midweek re-fueling, an encouraging night to get the students through the rest of the week. Our Middle School students meet on the third floor of the Family Life Center and our High School students meet on the first floor. Once a month, we have BIG WEDNESDAY, a night where all of our students combine for fun, food, fellowship and a challenging message. Be sure to check our calendar for the next BIG WEDNESDAY!
